Founded in 2012 by the Carey family, Green Meadows Beef epitomizes a legacy of farming in Coastal Taranaki, New Zealand. From humble beginnings, with roots tracing back three generations and spanning 420 lush acres, they now distribute across thirteen countries, working with like-minded partners who share their values around mindful consumption and sustainable farming. Their mission is simple: to provide Premium 100% Grass-fed Beef directly to your doorstep.

The Challenge

We’ve partnered with Green Meadows Beef across multiple marketing touchpoints for some time, but the launch of their new website in 2024 marked a pivotal moment in their paid advertising strategy.

The previous website limited what we could achieve in the paid advertising space. With the launch of the new site, we could finally scale campaigns, improve performance, and build a more refined, data-driven ad strategy for Green Meadows Beef. Now, it was time to translate these opportunities into actionable campaigns that could scale, perform, and deliver real results.

The Strategy

We built their ad campaigns from the ground up – testing, refining, and scaling across multiple platforms.

With Green Meadows Beef’s new Shopify site, we now deliver advanced ad formats like catalogue and shopping ads that sync inventory automatically. We looked at the overall paid ad strategy with a new lens to fully explore all possibilities, optimise where we could, and trial new platforms alongside Meta and Google.

Google’s AI-powered Search and Performance Max campaigns have driven standout results, while Meta is most successful for their short-term promotional meatboxes. Pinterest (a newer channel), has proven effective with recipe-led viral content.

In just six months, Pinterest has grown into a powerful new channel for GMB. By testing a mix of ad formats and creative approaches, we’ve been able to reach audiences GMB wouldn’t typically capture, and successfully convert them in Pinterest’s highly visual, inspiration-led environment.
